Well, I’m going to show a lot of pics for you today, as I’m very tired. As I lie in bed with my Tommy Copper compression tank & leggings & Pro Compression socks on, I have a few minutes before I crash! I’m feeling very good right now. I’m pleased with my time. I’m pleased with how I feel. I’m pleased that I saw almost everyone who came out to cheer me on for the marathon (minus a few). I am feeling quite good about the day. Hoping that the compression gear does wonders & I feel just as good when I wake in the a.m.
So, here are a few pics. & I will give a more thorough update in the coming weeks. I’m all about sleep & I know that I must get a good night’s sleep tonight!
Getting ready to leave the house in the dark This was my morning crew Having fun around mile 8
I can’t believe I got such a bloody blister! That hasn’t happened in a LONG time! OUCH! Afterwards, relaxing & having a couple snacks!
My after the race team met me to take me home!
When I got home , I had a Vega Sport accelerator. Now, it’s all about the recovery!
Wearing my compression gear (sans Pro Compression socks). I am sleeping in the blue tank you can see a bit of it under the top & the leggings along with the socks. I’ll report how I feel in the a.m.
OH, my time was 3:50! Yes, I’m thrilled! Last year I ran a 3:53 & was thrilled with that. Since I’m in a new age bracket (pays to age) this year, I qualified for Boston. Woo Hoo! When I do more of a recap later, I will explain how you all truly were my inspiration (esp. Kim over at Day with KT)!
THANK YOU ALL!
